2010! A new Year and a new start! I hope
everyone is working hard towards their Rank!
February marks the Celebration month for the Boy Scout
Program! The BSA was created in 1910! 100
Years old next month! What a great organization to
belong too! As the New Year begins, many
activities are going to take place. I would like
to get them on your calendar now! Some are at the
Pack Level and others are at the District Level.
But if we plan now, we can all and have fun!
This month we have a few events for you to attend.
1) The popcorn Celebration.
Sunday January 17 at the United Methodist Church at 5:30 pm. we
will be giving our prizes and watching a movie.

Leonardo's Cub Scout Lock
In
Explore science, earn Cub
Scout advancements,
and explore Leonardo’s Discovery Warehouse
with hands on exhibits entitled “Eureka!” , activities,
crafts, and experiments. Wake up the next
morning to explore Adventure Quest, the world’s
largest community-built playground. The Pack
is paying for any scout that wishes to attend Parent
cost is 10.00 each. (click on the link above for more
information.)
This months pack and den
meetings will be spent working on our pinewood derby's.
The Pack level races will be held on February 13th in
the Grad school gymnasium.
Registration time will start at 8:00 am. Races
will start just as soon as all the cars are registered.
This year will be our
first annual Valentine Classic Pinewood derby contest.
This event has been opened up to the public.

If you
have any popcorn money to turn please bring it
to next
Pack or den meeting.
Camping notes:
As the time grows near
our camping season, double-check your camping gear. Now
is a good time to start collecting items! We will be
camping in the warmer months. If you would like to help
head this committee, please let us know!
If you are not able to make Pack Meetings or Den
Meeting – be sure to let your leaders know.
